week 5 vocabulary

1. Niche /niːʃ/ an area or position which is exactly suitable for a small group of the same type.
For example of Niche Market - Luxury car (Lamborghini), Lamborghini is the name of the company that they emphasized to sell the luxury car with a high price or it can says as only the millionaire can buy this car. So, this company emphasized only the rich man group to sells their products to.
2. Trademark /ˈtreɪd.mɑːk/ a name or a symbol which is put on a product to show that it is made by a particular producer and which cannot be legally used by any other producer.
The example of Trademark
For the Trademark can tells the different of each corporation what their different of product to let the customers knows what the different.
For the example of trademark company: Singha drinking water, this trademark tells me about their company sells the drinking water by using this trademark that let the customers knows and remember what they sell.


The sentence of trademark: The customers always see the trademark on the products in the market. 
3. Royalty /ˈlɔɪ.əl/ firm and not changing in your friendship with or support for a person or an organization, or in your belief in your principles
Royalty fee:  the right to use copyrighted material or intellectual property without the need to pay royalties for each use or per volume sold, or some time period of use or sales.
The different of these 2 words are:
Loyalty /ˈlɔɪ.əl.ti/ is Trust, Loyal to someone or for something
Royalty /ˈrɔɪ.əl.ti/  is the Payment of the right
The example of "Loyalty fee": For running business as Franchising., the franchisee has to pay the loyalty fee for the Franchisor to get the right to use the same franchise to run business.

4.. Synergy /ˈsɪn.ə.dʒi/ the combined power of a group of things when they are working together which is greater than the total power achieved by each working separately.
The synonym of "Synergy": Combination, Alliance, and Co-action.



The example sentence of "Synergy": The synergy is the best way to combine 2 things come to work together for getting effective. 
5. Franchising /ˈfræn.t ʃaɪz/ to give or sell a franchise to someone.
** I think there are a same sound of pronunciation of this word
The verb of "Franchise": franchise
Franchisor is the person who sell the service to someone(Franchisee) with under the same brand.
Franchisee is the person who pay the loyalty fee to the franchisor to get the same brand of business from him/her. 
The example sentence of "Franchising": The KFC is a one out of many franchising business that is so popular in the world by selling the special chicken fried.

week 4-Vocab..

1. consumers /kənˈsjuː.mər / the person who buys the goods or service for their own uses.
2. consumerism /kənˈsjuː.mə.rɪ.zəm/ the state of an advanced industrial society in which a lot of goods are bought and sold.
3. conservation /ˌkɒnt .səˈveɪ.ʃən/ the protection of plants and animals, natural areas, and interesting and important structures and buildings, especially from the damaging effects of human activity.
4. the "verb" of the "conservation" is "conserve /kənˈsɜːv/ " it means to keep and protect something from damage, change or waste.
5. recycling /ˌriːˈsaɪ.klɪŋ/ when paper, glass, plastic, etc. is put through a process so that it can be used again   
6. "re" means the way or the method for using the thing again 
**For example of the words + "re" such as reuses - use the thing again from recycling, reduces - goes down or decrease, restarts - new beginning .
7. ethics /ˈeθ.ɪk/ a system of accepted beliefs which control behavior, especially such a system based on morals.
8. business ethics means is a form of applied ethics or professional ethics that examines ethical principles and moral or ethical problems that arise in a business environment. It applies to all aspects of business conduct and is relevant to the conduct of individuals and entire organizations.
**For example of the business ethics 
- Do not encroach the environment means when running business has to considers the environment by do not let the pollution into the air, do not let the toxic water into the river or pool. 
**For example of the business ethics where has a business ethic problem  
For the corporation where has a business ethic problem
I choose "Enron" the fuel company where has the business ethic problem as the accounting by auditors who has no ethic by แoncealed the income of the company and made the fake information to represent their company has a high income for motivated the businessman come to buy a share without know the real status of the Enron status at that time at all. So from this part of Enron it can tell you as their auditor has no ethics in working and also the people who were related.  

9. personal ethics means includes ideals that are important to a person, such as honesty or integrity. In the statement, a person defines these values and describes what he/she will and will not do to live by them.
**For example of "personal ethics"
1. Honesty
2. Loyalty

5.Venture /ˈven.tʃər/ a new activity, usually in business, which involves risk or uncertainty.
6. Joint venture: The combination between 2 companies upper would like to joint each other for run business for gaining the profit.
7. C corporation refers to any corporation that, under United States income tax law, is taxed separately from its owners. Most major companies (and many smaller companies) are treated as C corporations for U.S. income tax purposes.
For the example of C corporation : For S corporation is the corporation has to pay the tax for only the Texas's law.
8. S corporation is the a corporation that makes a valid election to be taxed under Subchapter S of Chapter 1 of the Internal Revenue Code. The different between C corporation and S corporation is for S corporation must live in U.S. and also has no more shareholders over 100 people. In other hand the C corporation can be any nationality for own the shareholders.
For example of S corporation: Only the shareholders of S corporation has to pay an income tax.
